Welcome to the Department of Human Resource and General Management at Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). As a core academic unit of the School, the department meaningfully contributes to the design and delivery of various undergraduate, graduate, and research degree programs in management offered by KUSOM.
The department brings together faculty members with expertise in human resource management, organizational behavior, leadership, general management, and related fields, enriching the School’s curricula with rigorous, practice-oriented, and contextually relevant teaching and mentoring. Through our courses, supervision, and academic engagements, we aim to help students develop the analytical, interpersonal, and ethical competencies needed to lead and manage organizations effectively in a changing world.
In addition to teaching, the department actively engages in research, professional development activities, and collaboration with industry, government, and development organizations. These engagements support the School’s mission of advancing management knowledge, strengthening organizational practice, and contributing to national and regional development.
